Mr. Capalot or Polo Capalot as he is known from Chicago Illinois started to gain attention once he released songs on YouTube. His first songs were Come Up and never Cared. He released his SoundCloud debut by releasing the mixtape called OFFICIAL polo.g SoundCloud. Gang With Me was his first single to chart, which was which was followed by Finer Things. Finer Things was recorded while being in jail. The track became his breakthrough single, and millions people watched it on YouTube. The track helped propel him to prominence. Records majors began to display interest. Pop Out, featuring Lil Tjay and Lil Tjay, finally came out after the rapper had signed a Columbia Records distribution agreement.
