Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who had been both as a captain and a participant of the 2012 Fierce Five as well as the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In the 2012 Olympics in London she won gold medals for floor and team competitions, as well as a bronze medal on the balance beam. This made her the first American gymnast to compete at the Olympics to win the most medals. In the 2016, Olympics she was awarded a gold medal in the team event which gave her and co-teammate Gabby Douglas the honor of having being one of the very first Americans to earn back-to-back gold medals for the team. Silver medals were also awarded in both the all-around individual and floor exercise. Following the 2nd Olympics she took three years off from gymnastics. She also was one of the gold medal winning American squads at two World Championships. She began her gymnastics training at age 2 and loves the floor workout. Aly participates in The Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization in memory and honor of her mother. As for the future, she plans to make a career from fashion. She would also like to extend her leotards line and socks. Fierce will be published in the summer of this year.
